Have Faith in Your Fourth Quarter

Listen, I'm going to need you to stop looking at the how and just do. We are officially underway in the month of October and that means that we are in the last quarter of 2023 as well. So we have roughly under 90 days left on this clock. So, let's do this right and do this big. Like bigger than what you could have ever imagined. This is not the time to shrink back, but the time to go forth harder than ever.

As you begin to soar, I want to remind you not to look back, to not let your emotions get the best of you and to not focus so much on the "how". I could not tell you how many times I've looked at a blueprint from God and the first thing out my mouth is who is this going to happen? How is this supposed to work? So I'm speaking from experience, don't worry so much about how God will do it and just focus on the parts that he has assigned you to focus on. I think as a human we are curious by nature. That same curiosity can lead to you feeling discouraged if you don't feel like the vision is attainable given the resources or means that are right in front of you. That also takes away the part where God is saying to partner with Him by faith for the completion of your projects, visions, blueprints etc. So go to the word. Scripture tells us in Hebrews 11:1, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. "God is looking for our faith in Him for everything upon this Earth and in Heaven.

Here are some questions I had to ask myself?

• Do I trust God to lead me as He has already led me?

• Do I trust Him to bring forth the plans that He has placed in me?

• Do I trust that the plans He has for me are for good and not evil according to Jeremiah 29:11?

• Do I believe in God to accomplish what He already said He would do?

The reminder I was given was to have faith and believe in Him because His promises have already been established. He already said it, therefore it is done.

Here are some ways to get your gears ready to soar:

• Write down the vision (Habakkuk 2:2)

• Revisit those plans (Sometimes we need a reminder of what God is doing)

• Expand the vision (It’s a God-sized vision)

• Partner with God (God is birthing so many of His plans in prayer- take everything to God)

• Surrender your plans to God-We have to realize that God has given us these plans to steward. By right, they are His. Allow Him to make the changes necessary in order for them to grow. You have to be willing to trim the fat. Allow Him to trim what no longer applies in the vision.

• Be flexible (God may have you rebrand something or have you put down something to pick something else up. Be led by His Spirit to know what He is doing)
