Are You Ready To Be A Guest?

Are you ready to be a guest on our show? Ignite UR Glow, the podcast is gearing up to having women just like you on our show and we can't wait. This has been a desire of mine since the show first started and we are now in a position to be able to do it. As I mention on the show we are more than just a podcast, but we are a movement.

This movement is all about breaking down the barriers of self-limiting beliefs and walls that have been placed up as a defense mechanism from when life came throwing lunges your way. Now, that is out the way we want to share a few reasons as to why joining our show would be beneficial for you even if you haven't started a business yet.

1. Becoming a guest speaker allows you to get in front of a new audience. Just because you haven't' launched your business doesn't mean that your story isn't important. I started off my journey doing interviews before I even had business. Take inventory of the story that you can share and allow that to be highlighted.

2. Speaking engagements on shows builds up credibility. You wnat to be able to showcase your talents in a way where people are excited to learn more about you.

3. Collaborations are great because you now have access to return back to their show with an update. There will already be an audience who is ready to meet with you.

Real Perspective on Joining Someone's Show

To be honest, when I did my first interview I was nervous. I didn't know how it was going to sound or if it would even build up to the experience they were used to having. The host assured me that they would be fine and that the episode will go smooth. Can In tell you that it went better than expected. My first interview was done in my kids bedroom while they were in the living room. I had the door shut and a mic that had a condenser on it. I lived on the 3rd floor and the walls were thin. Needless to say, in an imperfect environment, I was able to find a way to get it done.

Don't Let Doubt Creep In

Doubt was probably the number one thing followed by fear that had tried to cause me to feel as though I was not in the right place. But it was the love and support of the women whose show I was joining that showed me that it was just in my head. She had already heard a snippet of my testimony on another platform and that is how I ended up on her show. I shared my story in front of a grow up of women who I didn't know, and they showered me with love and feedback that empowered me.
