Show UP Different This Year!

If you are expecting different then you are going to have to do something different and show up different. That is what I am deciding to do.

Back story:

I used to be the person who didn't want to be seen. The one who could hide in the background. Even if it was my work, I would rather give credit to the group than take ownership of the parts that i worked on. I saw it as being humble ton share the credit, but the reality is that I was hiding.

I wasn't brave enough to show my face to the world, I would rather watch other people shine and admire then from the backstage. Than to stand on the stage with them.

But there was a change that happened. God spoke life into me and showed me that I wasn't called to just sit in the background. I wasn't called to stay in the background. I was called to stand out and share my story. I was called to be a voice for those who otherwise would consider themselves to be voiceless.

It wasn't an easy journey to be honest. I fought, God on this because it was taking me out of my comfort zone. Into a place that was unfamiliar. Yall, being in that uncomfortable spot was like a fish out of water at first. I was swimming and uncomfortable. What I needed to realize was that everything I had experienced had prepared me for the very places he was bringing me to.

I thought, I wouldn't be able to do it, but he knew I could. He knew what i was built and created to do. Some of you doubt the gifts the talents, the dreams all because you don't see it from His view. But i dare you to pause and think about this. If He is the one who created you, formed you, molded you. Then wouldn't He know if you would be able to sink or swim in the places that He is bringing you too?

Food for thought. He already knows everything about you.
