This Seed Will Produce a Harvest
Updated: Oct 8, 2022
For every idea/vision/project that you get, there is a bigger picture that you have yet to see. Now you may think that you have seen it all because your wrote it down or because you are watching it right in front of you. But I dare you to pause for a moment and think, is this big enough? See the God that we serve is a very big God and the seeds he plants within us may seem small, but they bring forth a much larger harvest. Think about it. Have you evcr seen a seed that was planted bring forth something that was smaller than the actual seed? I know that I haven't. So why would you believe that the seed (idea/project/vision) you were given wouldn't be bigger than what you are able to see?
Let's spin this for a moment. Have you been doing the work that is needed to produce a harvest? How the land gets cultivated makes a huge difference on what you are able to reap. You see the seed you were given is just that a seed. One that needs sunlight and water in order for it to grow. It needs to be planted in good soil so it can take root properly. The same thing can be said about us. We have all of these amazing ideas/visions/plans, but what does the soil look like where it's being planted. Have you taken the time to remove all the weeds that may be residing in your garden? Have you taken the time to till the land? There's work that must be done to the land before you start planting your seeds.
So now ask yourself, have I done the inward work in order to go forth with this seed? Or is there work that still needs to be done? Having work to do is not a bad thing. It simply means that the land needs to be prepared first. By doing this, it will give you insight about yourself. and those around you. You will be able to start identifying why the land was the way it was and how to take better care of it moving on. It's a learning curve for sure and one that will allow you to produce a greater harvest.
Take this word with you:
The reason that God pulled you out from wherever you were was because He knew that you needed to heal from some things that have taken place in your life. God loves you and cares for you. He wants you to be healed and made whole. He wants you to reap the harvest that was sowed, but He also needs you to take care of yourself as well.
The seed that has been planted will produce as long as you have done exactly what God has been asking of you. That includes taking the time to heal and seeking Him for guidance. He knows the work that will be needed in order for this to come to pass. Therefore He is helping you along your journey to get to the other side without being the broken down version of yourself that you once were. He cares too much for that to be your portion.
Trust in God and know this: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." Jeremiah 29:11 KJV
